The truck with the printing date is shown only for reference to establish the date these were printed and is not for sale at this time.
HELMS BAKERIES toy cardboard truck. MINT condition, never folded, but with a printing error showing faded printing on one side. Original owner. Perfect Helms Trucks are being sold in another listing.
Helms bakery truck drivers gave these out to kids (me) who asked for them. I used to save everything and I found a few of these that I never folded. One picture shows a printing date of 1954 although not all of my cardboard trucks have a printed date. All cardboard trucks, dated or not, were obtained in the late 1950s from Helms Bakery truck drivers in the Los Angeles area. The unfolded size is 6.75" x 6.5". The cardboard trucks show some yellowing from age as they are all about 65 years old. Stored in a non-smoking house.
These will be shipped flat between two pieces of cardboard and then inserted into a USPS Priority envelope. It will be marked, "Photo - do not bend".
