    YELLOW BIRCH
    Wood Dowel.  The dimensions are
    3" diameter x 36" length
    .  These are rough turned and cut to length.  They are vacuum-kiln dried to an average of 6% moisture content.  These are MOSTLY pure white wood when finished.
    These dowels are selected from a large inventory of wood and are chosen specifically for their curly, figured, tiger, flame quality.  Both grades are mostly very straight grained as they are turned from split billets. Grade #1 will be figured throughout most of the dowel and will be without defects or chips.  Grade #2 will be figured in about half of the dowel and might contain a minor defect or chip.  Both grades contain very high quality pieces wood.
